We planned to explore the western US beginning last fall. However, Mary Alice had some health issues and we had to delay our departure. I also have been working feverishly to finish the 1974 Triumph TR6 restoration (actually a resto-mod) that I and many friends have been working on for several years. Well, I am happy to say Mary Alice is healthy again, the TR6 is nearing completion, and the travel trailer is beckoning.
In late August, after our grand daughter’s first birthday celebration, we’ll be headed to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for a few weeks. Then, we’ll drop down to Kansas for our youngest grandson’s first birthday before heading out west. We plan to be away about a year and hope to visit many places in the west and southwest. Once winter arrives, we’ll let the temperature dictate where we go (and for how long) as our plan is to avoid the snow and ice we get at our home in western NC.
I plan to do a much better job of keeping this web site up-to-date with descriptions and photos of the places we visit. Please check back from time to time to what what we have been up to. I recently took a couple of photography courses and added to my camera equipment so I hope to post some decent pictures.
